Jazz Underground – Tish Oney Quartet presents Changes: Jazz Seasons
The Greenville Jazz Collective Jazz Underground series, on September 9 at 7 p.m., hosts The Tish Oney Quartet, performing songs of the four seasons drawing from the Great American Songbook, modern jazz composers, and other great tunes.
Dr. Oney is not only a singer with serious jazz credentials, she is also a composer, arranger, author, and educator. And she has assembled a band including Joe Davidian on keys, Bob Songster on bass, and Justin Watt on drums that is equally conversant in the musical traditions of this program of music.
They’ll be performing in our venue, the Coffee Underground Theater, which is an intimate listening room which also serves homemade desserts, delicious coffee from beans roasted on premises, and an assortment of teas, wine, and cocktails.
